Certified/licensed healthcare providers, enhance your knowledge and skills in the systematic emergency assessment and management of adult patients in medical crisis. Classes include interactive case-based lectures and hands-on practical lab stations with realistic scenarios related to the lectures (cardiovascular, respiratory and neurological disorders; shock, altered mental status and toxicology; endocrine, abdominal and environmental emergencies; and infectious disease and hazardous materials exposure). NAEMT certification and CAPCE credit are awarded upon successful completion of the course and passing of the skills and written exams.

The Hazmat First Responder Operations Responder course is for workers involved in emergency response at the operations level.

First responders at the operations level are members who respond to emergency situations where a release or a potential releases of hazardous materials as part of the initial response with the purpose of protecting nearby persons, property, or the environment from the effects of the release.

CEVO 4 ,FIRST INTRODUCED IN THE EARLY 90’S, THE COACHING THE EMERGENCY VEHICLE OPERATOR (CEVO) COURSES FOR AMBULANCE, FIRE AND POLICE PERSONNEL QUICKLY BECAME ACCEPTED AS STANDARDS IN DRIVER TRAINING FOR THESE FIELDS. SINCE THEN, OVER 500,000 EMERGENCY PROFESSIONALS HAVE BEEN TRAINED WITH THE CEVO PROGRAMS.

Class Description

The Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC-AC) class is NAEMT’s 8 hour version based off the core concepts of the Original TC3 16 hour class. It’s focus is to train first responders to handle emergency situations seconds after they happen. The cost of the course is $190 and $250 with the Medicine in Bad Places Individual First Aid Kit. The kit includes the following:

1x CAT Tactical Tourniquet (Generation 7)

1x ETD 4” Bandage

1x Hyfin Chest Seal (2-pack)

1x QuikClot Bleeding Control Dressing (4 yards)

1x NPA 28F w/ Lube

1 Pair Nitrile Gloves (Large)

The TCCC class offers 8 Continuing Medical Education credits for any certified EMT or Paramedic and is recognized by National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, however this class does not require certifications and is available to all First Responders. At the completion of this course, each student will receive a TCCC certification from NAEMT. Ultimately, your systems CME coordinator has the right to accept or refuse credit based off of the topic areas covered.
