Basic Life Support(BLS)
The Regional Emergency Medical Advisory Committee (REMAC) of New York City Basic Life Support Prehospital Treatment Protocols reflects the changing field of out-of-hospital emergency medicine and the continuous attempts of the emergency medical and trauma communities in all provider sectors (municipal, voluntary hospital, proprietary, and volunteer), acting in concert, to provide high-quality, state-of-the-art, out-of-hospital emergency medical care to urgently ill and injured adults and children in the New York City region.
Advanced Life Support(ALS)
The Regional Emergency Medical Advisory Committee (REMAC) of New York City Advanced Life Support Prehospital Treatment Protocols reflects the changing field of out-of-hospital emergency medicine and the continuous attempts of the emergency medical and trauma communities in all provider sectors (municipal, voluntary hospital, proprietary, and volunteer), acting in concert, to provide high-quality, state-of-the-art, out-of-hospital emergency medical care to urgently ill and injured adults and children in the New York City region.

The Appendices were developed to accompany the Regional Emergency Medical Advisory Committee (REMAC) of New York City Prehospital Treatment Protocols, both as a resource and guideline. Information includes hospital listings and designations, telephone directories and patient assessment scores.
