In this course, experienced full time first responders from Major NYC agencies with decades of field, tactical and military experience teach the tenets of TCCC / TECC and apply it to the Homeland.

Learn how a Tourniquet and Hemostatic agents carried by everyday first responders (you) can save your life. Find out how to treat a penetrating chest wound and how to restore an airway. Understand the management of burns in Tactical Field Care. Understand why cardiopulmonary resuscitation is not generally used for cardiac arrest in an MCI. Most important, learn the concept of providing; Care Under Fire / Direct Threat Care, Tactical Field Care / Indirect Threat Care and Transportation Decisions / Evacuation Care so that “Everyone Goes Home”

Accreditations

All NAEMT continuing education courses are accredited by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS). They also are recognized for recertification requirements by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
